About
My Story.
My Mission.
Whether your player is just learning how to pitch or wants to take their fundamentals to the next level, my goal is to help build confidence and give them the tools to succeed.
My name is Paige Bettermann, and I’m a 2027 right-handed pitcher from Cape Coral, Florida. I currently pitch for both my high school and the Tampa Mustangs Rene 18U team at the national level, competing in some of the highest-level tournaments and showcases in the country. I am also committed to the University of Pittsburgh in the ACC. Over the past few years, I’ve faced elite competition from across the U.S. I have been ranked among the top 100 pitchers in the country the past three years, more recently No. 39. Last season, I threw nearly 300 combined innings with over 350 strikeouts and a sub-2.00 ERA. I take great pride in both the physical and mental side of pitching, and I love the challenge that comes with it.
I’ve been fortunate to come from an athletic family, with both my parents being athletes and my older sister who played at Florida Tech, I have also been able work with excellent coaches and compete against top-tier hitters, and now I’m excited to begin sharing what I’ve learned by offering pitching lessons to younger athletes. My focus will be on helping beginners build a strong foundation of mechanics, body control, and proper form, giving young pitchers the tools they need to build confidence, stay healthy, and enjoy the game. My goal is not just to help players throw strikes, but to help them understand how to develop as complete pitchers as they grow.

With advanced pitchers, there will be more focus on power and movement if they are mechanically sound. We will also cover how to set up the hitter and mound approach. |
My Philosophy
As someone who balances year-round competition with a 4.45 GPA, I understand the dedication it takes to excel both on the field and in the classroom. I work with my students not only on mechanics, but also on the discipline, work ethic, and mindset that carries over into all areas of life.
Why I Want to Coach Pitching
I know first-hand how important it is to build a strong foundation as a young pitcher. That’s why I’m excited to now offer private pitching lessons for beginning and developing pitchers. My focus is on:
- Building proper mechanics & body control
- Preventing bad habits & reducing injury risk
- Establishing command & confidence early
- Creating a fun, encouraging environment to learn the game
Whether your player is just learning how to pitch or wants to take their fundamentals to the next level, my goal is to help build confidence and give them the tools to succeed as they grow.
