ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The weather couldn't have been more inviting as the UCF Softball team held their first full practice of the new year on Tuesday. The Knights, who finished last season 34-21 (11-10), have high hopes for their 2020 campaign under the direction of head coach Cindy Ball-Malone, who is entering her second year with the program. In other news, The American Athletic Conference released its Preseason Coaches' Poll on Tuesday, with the Knights receiving 32 total points, including one first-place vote, to sit at fourth place overall in the poll. For the second straight year, USF has been selected as the league favorite. You can check out the full poll results below.
