Maya Scotti turned in one of the more productive stat lines of the week at the Colorado Sparkler, showing impact at the plate from start to finish.

Representing Martin County high school, Scotti posted a .667 batting average and a .682 on-base percentage during the event. The production was loud and consistent, built on 14 hits and a steady stream of extra-base damage.

Scotti finished with three doubles, two triples and three over-the-fence home runs, a combination that points to both gap power and the ability to change a game with one swing. That kind of extra-base output stands out in any setting, and it helped drive an overall offensive line that was difficult to match.

She also scored 11 runs and drove in six, giving her production value in multiple ways. Some hitters fill up the box score with contact. Others do it with power. Scotti managed both, stacking hits while still doing serious damage when she connected.

The .682 on-base percentage adds another layer to the performance. It was not just a hot stretch built on balls finding grass. Scotti consistently found ways to get aboard, and once there, she turned those opportunities into runs. That blend of contact, power and run production is what gives a tournament performance staying power.

The hit total jumps off the page on its own. Fourteen hits in one event is a strong body of work. Pair that with eight extra-base hits, and the week becomes even more impressive. Scotti was not simply putting the ball in play. She was creating pressure with authority.

For a player spotlight, the numbers tell the story clearly. A .667 average, 14 hits, eight extra-base hits, six RBI and 11 runs scored is the kind of line that reflects a player seeing the ball well and doing damage throughout an event.

At the Colorado Sparkler, Maya Scotti gave Martin County high school a major offensive lift and put together a performance worth tracking.
