Florida State freshman Devyn Flaherty got her college career off to a fast start. The Sarasota, FL native, went 5-10 with two triples and two home runs with seven RBI’s on the weekend. That helped her post a 1.500 SLG.

Rylee Trlicek

Florida

Gator’s freshman Rylee Trlicek threw her first collegiate no-hitter in the five-inning victory over Georgia State. Trlicek’s no-hitter was the first thrown by a freshman since 2016, and only the second opening weekend no-hitter ever recorded for the Gators.

Sophomore outfielder Courtney Chisholm has a strong week at the plate going 12-25 with eight runs and 4 stolen bases.

The Rollins sophomore pitcher improved to 4-0 on the season as she earned two shutouts over the week. In the two games, she struck out nine over 14 innings of work.

Ave Maria senior Kalie Romig had a solid first week going 7-11 with four runs scored and five RBI’s. She was also 8-8 on stolen bases.

Junior Gabryella Hay of Florida National posted a 3-0 record last week over 16 innings of work.

The freshman hat a hot bat this past week going 10-19 with four doubles, two triples and seven RBI’s.

Bailey looked strong going 3-0 this past week. Batters struggled as she struck out 26 over 18 innings allowing just six hits and three earned runs.
