BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Wednesday morning the Southeastern Conference announced the 2020 Preseason All-SEC Team, which included Florida junior Hannah Adams

In 2019, Adams was selected to the SEC All-Tournament Team after she notched a .308 batting average and produced three RBI and three runs scored en route to the Gators fifth overall tournament title. Adams scored the game-tying run in the comeback victory against South Carolina and put the Gators up early with a two-run home run in the 1st inning against Auburn in the semifinal game.

The hot streak at the plate continued into NCAA postseason play as the Hoschton, Ga. native hit .346 and was tied for the team lead with nine hits, which included three doubles.

Florida is set to begin its’ 2020 campaign at the USF-Rawlings Invitational in Tampa against Illinois State (Feb. 7) at 6:45 p.m. with the first SEC series slated against Auburn (March 6-8).

The Gators are also set to host conference opponents Ole Miss (March 28-30), Missouri (April 9-11) and Georgia (May 24-26).

UF is also set to host a pair of marquee non-conference series at home against Louisiana (Feb. 28-March 1) and Baylor (March 13-15).
