ATLANTA, Ga. – Fresh off of helping Jacksonville University softball pick up two season-opening wins this past weekend, redshirt-senior pitcher Alyssa Bilodeau was named ASUN Pitcher of the Week on Monday.

Bilodeau tossed a no-hitter on Friday and earned the win in relief on Sunday to help power JU to two victories over Boston College opening weekend.

Showing no rust despite not pitching in a regulation game in almost a year, she fired 6.1 scoreless, hitless ball, completely shutting down the lineup of her ACC opponent. She fanned six Eagles the first time through the order, and allowed only two baserunners all day, both via walks, before finishing the afternoon with 12 total strikeouts.

She came on in relief on Sunday, striking out four in 2.2 innings, while allowing just two hits and a run.

Her total line from the weekend was 16 strikeouts in nine innings in the circle, with only two hits and one run surrendered in the River City Leadoff, which was shortened due to inclement weather.

She previously earned ASUN Pitcher of the Week March 9 of last season, just before the season was canceled.

Jacksonville is back in action on Wednesday at #6 Florida in Gainesville, Fla., with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m
