ORLANDO – The UCF softball team was back at The Plex as the Knights held their first practice of the fall on Friday.

In 27 games, UCF outscored opponents 156-64.

UCF was also included in the two major national softball polls’ final rankings to end the season, with the Knights checking in at No. 21 in the USA Today/NFCA Top 25 Coaches Poll and No. 24 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25 Poll. The Knights were ranked No. 7 in the first and only NCAA RPI ranking released.
