The 2023 USA Softball 12U All-American Games in Oklahoma City at the Hall of Fame Stadium kick off next week, August 10-13, 2023. The Region 3 Freedom team will represent Florida. The event draws the top 12U talent nationally and will provide national exposure to these athletes. Last year the team finished second, losing a tough one in the championship game. This year’s squad will look to bring home the title in 2023 with a strong group representing all areas of the state. Meet this year’s Region 3 Freedom USA All-American Team.
Florida will be well represented and send a deep team of 15 players from across the state. The coaching staff selected the Team after four separate tryouts. No more than four players can come from any one team.
The Coaches
Joseph “Bam” Donalson
This is the second year for Coach Donalson, who is currently the head coach of the Santa Fe Inferno 09 Donalson team. This past season they posted a record of 43-17-2. The squad competed against the best in the state and faced some of the country’s best competition. With a year under his belt, expect even more big things from him and his squad.
Michele Becker
Coach Becker coached the Texas Glory Becker 12U team this past season when they went 25-22-3 against the state’s top teams. She is currently now coaching the Sante Fe Inferno 14U Becker team. Michele brings a high level of energy to the staff. This is her first time coaching the AA team, and should add to this already talented staff.
Jeff Humphrey
Coach Humphrey is the head coach of Santa Fe Inferno Humphrey 12u. His Team had a strong record of 63-11-1 in the 12u division. Humphrey also has an older daughter who is currently playing at JMU. Coach Humphrey will work with the pitchers and catchers and bring a world of experience to this staff.

Adriana Layne (2028)
Team: Athletics Mercado Florida (14U)
Adriana is coming off a solid season, finishing with a .403 BA and a .477 OBP. Layne primarily plays center and second base. This past year she also had 31 hits in 77 bats with 29 singles, one double, one triple, and 8 RBIs. She was also impressive in the field, with a fielding percentage of .929.
Rylee Swilley (2028)
Team: Santa Fe Inferno Humphrey 12u
Rylee is a power pitcher that also brings power to the plate. The righty had a great spring and summer, racking up 262 strikeouts during travel ball. She is also a force at the plate and knocked one over the fence with a .439 batting average this season. Riley also played middle infield and had a great .935 fielding percentage.
Alondra Aldebol-Borrero (2028)
Team: Jersey Intensity KOD National 12U
The middle infielder brings a high softball IQ, solid glove, and quick feet to the Team. The slapper had a .387 OBP along with a .885 fielding percentage. Alondra gives the coaches options defensively and brings speed to the bases.
Lyric Rodriguez (2028)
12U Team: SFL Intensity 12u–Rodriguez
The hard-throwing righty also plays first and brings a consistent bat. This past summer, she posted 166 strikeouts in the circle. At the plate, she carried a .398 BA with two home runs. One of three big arms this Team has, she allows the coaches options both in the circle and on the field.
Natalie Singletary (2029)
Team: Tampa Mustangs Gilbert
Singletary is a catcher and 3rd baseman with an excellent bat. This past season the right-handed hitter posted seven doubles with a batting .35l with 23 RBI and .470 OBP. Her strong arm and aggressive style make her a great option behind the plate.
Paityn Donalson (2028)
Team: Santa Fe Inferno 09 Donalson
Paityn plays for Santa Fe Inferno 09 Donalson, where her father is the head coach, and she is the only player returning from last year’s team. Donalson primarily plays outfield, along with some second base. The slapper has stayed consistent, keeping a .342 BA this season and an even more impressive .547 BA playing up in high school as a 7th grader. Her speed makes her a threat at the plate and on the bases.
Alexsandra Faught (2028)
Team: Santa Fe Inferno Humphrey 12u
Alexsandra Faught is a center fielder and middle infielder who mainly plays center on Santa Fe Inferno Humphrey 12u. The Slapper had a good season with an average of .466 with 54 stolen bases. Speed is her game. She is tall and fast, making her a genuine triple threat at the plate.
Jada Johnson (2028)
Jada plays shortstop and 3rd with an impressive batting average of .447 and 40 RBIs this season. Her ability to play multiple positions and great bat makes her a critical asset to this Team. Her ability to play multiple spots adds depth to this team, which is loaded with Athletes. She stands out among a group full of standouts.
Ella Fleming (2028)
Team: Florida Impact Castro
Ella played her last season with Florida Impact Castro, where she was a starter at third base and catcher. She had an excellent batting average of .800. Ella also had a very impressive nine home runs this past season. She adds a strong arm behind the plate and a big bat that can change a game with one swing.
Emma Huffman (2028)
Team: Lakeland Chaos 09
Emma currently plays on Lakeland Chaos 09. She plays Catcher primarily along with some 3rd. The righty hitter shows a lot of power in the box posting a .605 OBP with one home run. She is a tough out at the plate and has a strong arm at catcher. One of many options this Team has when it comes to big bats. She is also among the fastest in this group, which is saying a lot, as this team is loaded with speed.
Audrinah Hall (2028)
Team: Florida Impact
Hall had an excellent season this year while playing with the Florida Impact. She is a catcher and 3rd Baseman. Audrinah also has a good bat with a .425 batting average with 48 RBIs this season. She has a cannon for an arm, so runners should beware.
Miley Kate McMullan (2028)
Team: EC Bullets Vallery
Miley Kate is an ace pitcher who last season had a very impressive 1.70 Era. She had an awe-inspiring season with 189 strikeouts. McMullan has held her opponents to a .180 batting average, along with hitting one out this season. Miley Kate brings severe heat from the circle, making this staff very deep.
Sofia-lynn Becker (2029)
Team: Texas Glory Becker
Sofia-lynn is primarily held down short. The right-handed hitter had a good season with an average of .367. She is a versatile player that can play nearly any spot on the field. She also has an impressive Fielding percentage of .929.
Aubrey Williams (2028)
Team: Santa Fe Inferno
Aubrey Williams plays on Santa Fe Inferno 12u Humphrey. The right-handed catcher has only two pass balls in 188 innings this past season and threw out 10 runners. Aubrey also plays the middle infield.
Danbee Kim (2028)
Team: Miami Stingrays 09
Kim is the type of player that can play any position on the field but primarily plays SS. She also has an excellent bat posting a .681 BA with 35 hits, 6 doubles, and 9 triples. Her great athleticism, strong arm and, .978 feilding percentage makes her a threat no matter where she plays on the field.
