Gainsville, FL. The 2022 PGF Show Me The Money tournament attracted some of the nation’s top teams to the state of Florida in the 14, 16, and 18U divisions. Each division champion earned a check for $10,000. Bill Hoopes, the State PGF Director, hosted the event. Full results can be found here.

The Beverly Bandits Moran squad took home the $10K check in the 14U division topping Virginia Unity Meadows/Spinogatti 8-0 in the championship game. The Bandits allowed just one hit while racking up 11 hits. The team posted an impressive 10-1 overall record at the event.

In the 16U division, the Mojo Lundsford 16U team defeated Unity Johnson/Ross 16U 4-0 to capture the title and the check. Over the event, they went 8-2 on their way to the championship. It was impressive, considering the teams they took down.

Taking the top spot and the $10K in the 18U division was the Birmingham Thunderbolts 18U Premier. On the week, they posted a 9-0 record. They took down Windermere Wildfire Pollock 2-0 in the championship in a pitching duel. The Thunderbolts scored the only run they would need in the first inning.

This event continues to grow and is becoming one of the top showcase events in the Southeast.
