Although they came up short, losing 4-1 to a team made up of players from Texas and Oklahoma, the Region 3 Freedom showed that Florida is running deep with Talent. This was the first time in the event’s history that a team from Region 3 made it to the championship game. The squad displayed firepower at the plate, outscoring the competition in their five wins 27-4, including two wins over California’s top team and a talented team representing Alabama and several other states.
